I'd like to share the experience here,

2nd Step

For the next step, momzilla was focusing on catering vendor, Alfabet Catering, and bridezilla was focusing on adminitrative issue to get Penghulu to be available on the wedding date.
Documents required for registration to KUA Kebayoran Lama (based on GWPP administrative location) are listed in this blog .

In my case, Penghulu fee is 1,000,000, paid cash before the wedding date. (My dad visited KUA Kebayoran Lama to delivered the payment).
The head of KUA Kebayoran Lama himself will be our Penghulu.

We made appointment with KUA Kebayoran Lama in February to register our marriage and to have a marriage consultation.

Meanwhile...

Momzilla rapidly follow up Alfabet. As the result, we had our food testing delivered to our home.
bridezilla, momzilla and NYPD gathered and enjoyed the food testing around January also, (I guess, forgot the right date :( )

Legion

The Legion is the most important role of the whole preparation.
The members are :

1. Momzilla, is my mother. This has the highest danger level
2. Bridezilla, is me. 
3. NYPD, is my best aunty, my mom's sister-in-law

How this Legion works?

• Bridezilla finds vendors except the catering vendor is from Momzilla, every one must agree with it. Luckily, Momzilla chooses one of the finest catering service in Jakarta.
• Bridezilla lists all the vendors
• bridezilla follows up, mostly, the vendors of entertainment, wedding photo/video, invitation maker, pre-wedding photo.
• Momzilla concerns most at the catering vendor.
• NYPD concerns most at the vendor for wedding dress (includes MC, details of reception rundown,dresses for family) 

Before we continue to the process, I'd like to share with you that this blog is written for you, bridezilla-to-be, who'd like to have a simple,quick,punctual preparation done by your team with budget less than 200 million IDR yet it ain't a 'cheap' wedding reception.

Your family can be a great team. You can save the money for your future.

Remember, don't let too many persons involve in your wedding preparation. 

Be focus on what you do, don't listen to many people.

1st Step

 The first thing need to do is : PICK THE  DATE & VENUE HUNTING !

We did this first step during October - November 2013.

 At first, we decided to arrange the wedding date on April 12th. 

We, firstly chose venue at Rimbauan I in Manggala Wanabakti due to its strategic location  near the highway and cheap rental cost. However, after momzilla and NYPD visited the venue, they didn't satisfy because the venue was too hot.

Back to the hunting process

By feeling dissatisfied  with Manggala, momzilla then contacted Gedung Wanita Patra Pertamina Simprug (GWPP). Momzilla was getting married in this place also LOL

Bridezilla also approached GWPP and saved the date on May 17.

I was so happy that I could save the venue and the date. However it turns out that momzilla already booked the venue on the same date. (Momzilla was very fast).

So there was a double booking. Then I explained to the venue PIC so that it only one booking remained under momzilla's name. (OK Mom, you win, sigh)

By the end of November 2013, Legion was successfully booked the venue for wedding date in May 2014. We are lucky, because GWPP is one of the most people-look-for venue. The location also still in South Jakarta, near my house in Ciledug and my future's husband's house in Bintaro.

Pari Island - Thousand Islands, in het noorden van Jakarta, Indonesië

These are  few pictures i made when i visited Pari Island, part of Thousand Islands, we call it in Bahasa Indonesia as Kepulauan Seribu, located in the north of Jakarta, my home town, Indonesia.
We started this trip by taking a fisherman boat from Muara Angke Harbour, North Jakarta.

It took about 2 hours to reach the island. By the time we arrived, we were welcomed by the clean blue tosca sea water .

We stayed at the guest house, owned by the local people and it was the nearest house from the harbour. We only walked like less then 2 minutes to reach the guest house. We could see the harbour view directly from our guest house. There were bicycles being parked in front of our place. Therefore we could ride it and enjoy touring the whole island. The house itself was an air-con place so it was cool inside.

After taking some rest in the guest house, our tour guide,the local people, guided us to have a tour through the island by riding bicycle. He led us into a beach which contained many starfishes.

Finally, here came to the main point of this trip. Swimming into the sea! We took snorkling but i took off my life jacket so that i could swim freely deep down the sea. The guide took us to the snorkling spot outside Pari Island,

On the next day, we spent sunday morning the most famous spot of Pari Island, the Virgin beach.

Last but not least, i'd like to introduce the whole members who took part of this short yet awesome trip. Thanks to my senior in university,Metta Yunita for also inviting me along. I really had a great trip and enjoyed making new friends. To my dearest Tata & Puput thank you too. とても楽しい旅だったね！

Portraits of Sunda Kelapa Harbour

These are pictures captured by my Lomo fish eye, on a hunting journey with friends from Lomonesia, ( an official lomography communities in Indonesia ). Located in Sunda Kelapa Harbour and beyond in central Jakarta, near the old town square, on January 29th 2012.
